Thanksgiving in Utah

We went to Utah for Thanksgiving...and we had so much fun. It was so great to see Grandma and Grandpa Ford and spend Thanksgiving with them. They were so gracious to have the WHOLE family up there. We were also really lucky to have the Rich's up in Utah at the same time, so we didn't miss out on the festivities for either family. We feel so blessed to be with our family all the time. We had fun at Thanksgiving Point...although it was freezing, we were determined to let Jaxon see the animals. He was such a good sport. It was so awesome to see the Giffords...we can't believe we manage to get along without them.

Happy Halloween

Halloween was an absolute blast! Our Halloween weekend started with wrestling Jaxon into his Cookie Monster costume. Every time he saw his costume, he would start to cry and say "no cookie...please no cookie!" The church Trunk Or Treat was so fun. Jaxon went from car to car say "twick tweet." Adorable! We carved pumpkins with Sarah and Craig...notice I said Sarah and Craig...no kids. They decided early on that it was not nearly as entertaining as scattering DVD's all over Sarah's living room. We learned that Kellie is not a pumpkin carver, although Craig should get a prize for his handy work. Halloween night was so much fun. It was so neat to have Jaxon trick or treat with his cousins. We have tons of candy, a dirty Cookie Monster costume and a tuckered out toddler...the night was a success!

The Pumpkin Patch

We FINALLY made it to the McCall's Pumpkin Patch in Morarity. Jaxon had a ball with Grammie and Papa, and loved looking for pumpkins with YaYa (Olivia), Sevrin and Aunt Sarah. It was a beautiful day for pumpkin fun. All the kids fell asleep after a day of hayrides, pumpkin jumps, the animal ally and so much more! We will definitely be back next year!

So Sad...

Sad news about the hunt. Rich got home around 2:30am. He cracked the rear differential on the truck, and was leaking oil, so the hunt was cut short. He was pretty bummed, but we are happy to have him home. He had a good time, but wish they would have had the chance to get an elk. Hopefully next year. (At least we don't have to eat Elk for 6 months!)

Lonely

Richie Rich has hit the hunting road for a couple of days, so it is just Jaxon and me for a couple of days. He drew for elk, so I have been hearing nothing but how great our elk spagetti, elk burgers, elk sausage, elk everything will be as of next week. For his sake, Jaxon and I hope he gets one.

Houston

We had a ball in Houston, TX. We went to TX to see Stacey and Jamey and loved every minute of it. We spent our days at the most amazing parks, in the ocean in Galveston, on the boardwalk in Kemah, in the seats at the Texans vs. Colts game...the list goes on and on. Stacey's house is so cute and we are so envious of the space they have. Jaxon had so much fun the cats, and loved every second of the ocean. Although it was hot, and we never did get our doughnuts, we had a blast. We can't wait to go back!
